'Fortnite' Telescope Locations: Where To Dance In Front Of 3 Telescopes (Season 10)

Fortnite's tenth season--Season X--is almost at an end. We've reached Week 8 and the Storm Racers Mission Bundle.

After this week, it appears there's only one more. Epic Games has tinkered with the formula for this season, releasing weekly Mission Bundles, Limited-Time Challenges, a Mystery Challenge with the special Scientist skin, and even a Team Rumble Mission Bundle.

Suffice to say, the fact that we don't appear to have ten weeks this season should come as no surprise. Unless something changes, Week 8's will be the penultimate Mission Bundle of the season.

In any case, this week's challenges include one that tasks players with dancing in front of three telescopes. Simple enough, so long as you know where to look. That's where I come in, bringing you this handy guide.

As far as I know, there are only three telescopes to choose from, though more might pop up once you, dear readers, head out into the wild and find them yourselves. If you do find more, please let me know on Twitter or Facebook. I'll be happy to update this post.

Where To Dance In Front Of Three Telescopes (map below)

The first, and perhaps best known, of the current telescopes can be found right in the center of the map, on the big mountain just southwest of Dusty Depot. This is often where matches of Team Rumble end up taking place. It's also the telescope closest to where the Scientist is building his rocket, and to where the meteor hangs, poised mere meters from the warehouses--frozen in time.

The second telescope is on a snowy hill just to the southeast of Shifty Shafts, across the river. That's a nice view of the comet. Actually, each of these locations has a nice view of the comet, and will likely make great viewing points for whatever season-ending event takes place when Season 10 draws to a close.

Finally, the third telescope can be found just northwest of the dinosaurs, southwest of Moisty Palms, up on a sandy mountain.

The Map

Once you've completed this challenge and all six others, be sure to switch over to Prestige Challenges, where another batch of seven extra-difficult challenges await. These grant XP and cosmetics, so you won't level up your Battle Pass, but you will evolve skins and get closer to the Zero Point rewards. The Red Knight reward requires you complete every single challenge, including all Prestige challenges.

This challenge has importance beyond just dancing in front of telescopes. I take it as a message from Epic Games to look to the skies. Big things are afoot, great happenings are about to commence. More and more, it looks like some confluence of the Cube, the rift orb over Loot Lake, the meteor and the Scientist's rocket. Things may go boom in a very big way--big enough, perhaps, to see the advent of an entirely new map. How cool would that be?

P.S. The Prestige version of this mission tasks players with dancing in front of two telescopes in a single match. Clearly your best bet is the snow telescope and the grass telescope in any order. The desert telescope is much further away.

Happy dancing, young padawans! Have fun getting your groove on! May the dance be ever in your favor . . . .
