The new season's Victory Royale umbrella glider prize in 'Fortnite' is super sweet.
Credit: Epic GamesEvery season of Fortnite there’s a new umbrella glider that you can unlock only one way: By winning a match of the game in Solo, Duo or Squads (or some LTMs like Trios or Bounty).
When you win, the ultimate prize is nabbing that special umbrella. Usually it’s a seasonal umbrella but sometimes, like with John Wick’s Bounty, you can also win an LTM prize umbrella.
Chapter 2, Season 2’s umbrella is one of the coolest so far. And no surprise here, but it’s black and gold. Gold is this season’s color in a way no other season has really had a color scheme before thanks to the new Battle Pass character and spy leader Midas.

So with the help of my nine-year-old I now am the proud owner of this glider. We played about four Duos matches before we got it, but we managed it yesterday so it’s a day one success story. I almost got it earlier in the evening playing squads. Both my kids had been eliminated and I went on to wipe three other squads. With ten eliminations under my belt and almost no health or shields left I was caught between the storm and one final player. He wasn’t as hurt and he had me pinned down with rockets. I think if I’d gotten one more shot off I would have won but he got the better of me. No worries, though. We got that victory royale a little bit later.
Here’s the umbrella in-game. It’s called “Confidential†and we’re supposed to not tell anyone we found it. Ha, fat chance.
