Latest Fortnite Update for iOS Brings 120fps Mode to 2018 iPad Pro

Despite that limitation, an iPad Pro running Fortnite can now beat the performance of current-generation consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One, which are restricted to 60fps.

Does this performance advantage include resolution as well? What about texture details and other features?Controlwise, how do you play this game on an iPad? I've tried playing more complex games on my phone and the experience is always awkward and disappointing at best.

Yea. I'm pretty sure the consoles are 60fps, higher res, higher graphics.

Well, of courseI was really surprised that they did this. It didn't get turned on by default for me. I had to go into settings and enable it after downloading the update. I've played a lot on my iPad Pro and I noticed a drastic difference in graphic quality after this update.

iOS 13 added game console controller support. I use my PS4 controller.wow. just call it the new and improved Nintendo switchwith an even faster processor and graphics update later this year for the iPad it should be a serious portable gaming machine. given the game manufactures code everything rightthe ps5 and new xbox coming out this year support 8k graphicswould be neat to use an iPad Pro and then transfer graphics to a 4k TV screen for playShould of been for 2017 pro too
