Here's where to visit five different E.G.O. Outposts in 'Fortnite' Chapter 2.

We’re in the fifth week of the first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 already. This week’s mission is called ‘The Lowdown’ for whatever reason. It involves pretty generic activities like searching chests and assisting teammates.

A couple of this week’s challenges involve E.G.O. Outposts. These are the greenish/khaki buildings sprinkled across the map that basically replace the A.I.M. Outposts that showed up in the first Chapter and figured in to the game’s story to some degree. No doubt, the E.G.O. Outposts will also play a role in Fortnite’s story in the coming seasons.

The first of these challenges is simply searching chests at E.G.O. Outposts. The second tasks players with visiting five different E.G.O. Outposts (though you’ll only unlock this after solving one of the original three challenges).

For the purposes of this post, I’ll show you where every E.G.O. Outpost is located. There are five actual Outposts and then one that I think should still count for this challenge, but might not. It’s the Outpost located in the mountain in the southeastern corner of the map, which almost certainly will end up being a big deal this season.

I’ll have to verify if the one in the mountain (G7) counts or not, but you only need five so if you wanted to play it safe, just visit the others. These are located:

Just northwest of Dirty Docks on the border of G3 and H3.

North of Lazy Lake and south of Frenzy Farm in F5.

Southwest of Misty Meadows in D8.

Just southwest of Holly Hedges in B5.

On the beach west of Pleasant Park in C2.

UPDATE: Sure enough, the bottom right location does not activate this challenge. It is part of the EGO network, but I guess it’s the main base or something and not an outpost. The other five will have to do.

Visit all five of these to earn the XP and unlock more challenges in ‘The Lowdown’ mission. Completing all the challenges will unlock the secret loading screen with the hidden letter “N”.

Remember also, you can find a Weapon Upgrade Bench at these Outposts, which is part of another challenge this season.
