Fortnite
EpicThe final week of Fortnite challenges are here, but they're quite a bit different than past weeks, or past overtime challenges. There are only a handful in the "Out of Time" list as we head toward the grand event on Sunday that may or may not be nuking the entire map. Players are being asked to find a series of Visitor Recordings around the map, tapes that may explain his motivations over the past few seasons, but we'll see. The first one you're asked to collect is a Visitor Tape on the Floating Island.
The Floating Island is a moving Rift Zone which appeared a few weeks ago, the return of the Cube and the jamming of a few different landmarks on top of the floating bit of land, combining the old mansion there with the missing motel from the northwest part of the map.
As I write this, the Floating Island is pretty far in the south east of the desert area, but you'll have to see if it's still there by the time you're going to hunt for it.
Once you make your way to the island, you're looking for a specific truck. In the image below, if you stand on the pool side of the island (remnants from the motel), you will see a truck on your left parked near the building.

EpicThis is where you'll find your Visitor Tape location, in the bed of that truck. Collect it, kill any rivals trying to assassinate you, and the move on to the next one.

EpicHere's where this is on the map if that helps you out at all. Keep in mind that the island moves, but this should remain the part of the island where the tape appears.

EpicHere is the audio from the first tape, if you don't want to be bothered to get it. The Visitor sounds a lot more human than I thought.
There are six tapes in total to unlock, and naturally, we have written guides about where to find all of them. These are not all live yet, but the links will update when they are.
Yeah so as you can see, all of these tapes are in Rift Zones that the Visitor has been setting up all season long, new or old zones that he brought back through rifts. Kind of neat.
We still don't know what's happening on Sunday other than the rocket launch, but my guess it will be something the likes of which Fortnite has never seen before. Get ready.
